Government and Non-Profit Funding Opportunities:
Central Penn CDL Academy collaborates with state and city agencies, along with non-profit organizations, to secure funding options for eligible students. Each grant program has distinct qualifying criteria.
To explore whether you may qualify for financial assistance, please reach out to us by phone or visit our facility.
Some of the grants our students have successfully accessed include:
CareerLink and WIA/WIOA: Designed for individuals facing unemployment and seeking training for a new career.
TAA (Trade Adjustment Act): Tailored for those whose jobs have been relocated overseas.
OVR (PA Office of Vocational Rehabilitation): Targeted support for individuals dealing with injuries or other physical and learning disabilities.
Incumbent Workers Training Grant: Available for employees aspiring to advance in their careers, benefiting both the employee and the employer.
Tuition Reimbursement:
Many leading companies offer tuition reimbursement to new hires. After commencing employment, these companies make monthly payments towards your student loan, including potential reimbursement for your initial down payment to our school. Schedule a meeting with one of our representatives to gain comprehensive insights into this option.
Employer-Sponsored Funding:
Certain companies provide tuition assistance programs for their current employees. Reach out to your HR Department or Supervisor for detailed information. If your current employer is involved in the trucking industry, they might be open to training you for a promotion.
In-House Financing:
Central Penn CDL Academy offers an exclusive in-house student payment plan. With this option, you provide an initial down payment, and the remaining balance is settled before your final CDL exam. There are no third-party loan entities or high-interest loan companies involved; you work directly with us.
Central Penn Quarterly Scholarship: Every quarter, Central Penn CDL Academy will hold a submission contest to cover one student's tuition. Any potential student interested in participating can go to our facebook page or email info@centralpenncdl.com for submission details.
Lending Partners:
We have established partnerships with multiple CDL school-specific lending companies, offering a variety of financing options. Approval does not necessarily hinge on having perfect or good credit. For more information, speak to our school director.
Payment Options:
Cash, Checks, Credit Cards, or 3rd Party Loans: Many students opt to pay their tuition upfront to avoid interest. We accept cash, checks, money orders, and most major credit cards. Additionally, we can guide you to third-party loan entities specializing in CDL student personal financing, potentially allowing enrollment at Central Penn CDL Academy with little to no money down.
